The pipe bowl pictured above unlocked a lost family story. Daniel Larrabee carved this pipe on the battlefield of Antietem.  It was a gift for his father-in-law Jonathan Shaw.  The story didn’t end there. 

This pipe also brought me to the “Antiques Roadshow” where I learned of it’s unique value.  The strength and courage of Daniel Larrabee encouraged me to step out to create a business to help others discover the stories, lessons and encouragement found in the stories of everyday families.

Which stories of your family are waiting to be discovered in Gramma’s china cabinet or even Grampa’s sock drawer?  That is where this amazing pipe had been kept.
